World Affairs Council of Central Illinois
The World Affairs Council of Central Illinois was established in 1988 to provide a local forum for discussing U.S. policy, global economics and international politics. The Council is a non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt, educational organization which takes no position and advocates no cause. Its membership provides a forum for discussion of critical international issues beyond the often brief and incomplete TV and press coverage. The council sponsors many foreign affairs-themed speakers, discussions and events.
