Nigerian Women Association (NWA)

Nigerian Women Association (NWA) was founded in May 2001 by 8 founding members, namely Kate Abitogun, Tola Danmole-Ajoku, Phyllis Danmole, Valerie Idusuyi, Anehita Adekunle, Remi Imeokparia, Toke Oshodi, and Lati Osinowo.

Membership Requirements are: Women only, Nigerian by birth OR by Marriage. We meet every 3rd Saturday at 4pm, Location is announced on the calender of events. There is a $40.00 Registration fee and $240.00 annual membership fee that can be paid at $20.00 monthly installment.

Objectives: Our objective is to support Nigerian and African-American women and children by empowering them with togetherness and knowledge of Nigerian culture and traditions so we can sponsor and participate in community events that promote the positive aspects of our people.
